Repeater projects can be hard work and time consuming. This one, however was fairly easy. Most of the work was done ahead of time by John/KG6AWB and Gene/W7POR. Kim/KF6ZSW and Pat/KG6BXZ helped with carrying, holding and supporting.
Kim is pleased that we have our repeater up and going.
The equipment is mounted in this all-weather rack, complete with vent fan, if it gets too hot.
Our thanks to Mike/KG6RZW for contributing the enclosure.
This is the 6db omnidirectional antenna which sends the signal to the valley below.
We are grateful to our host for allowing us to locate the repeater at this site. It is the long-sought PRECIPITOUS OVERLOOK for good repeater communications.
